The GATE 2017 results have been announced today i.e. March 27, 2017, on its official website.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, an organizing institute of GATE 2017 conducted the examination on February 4, 2017, to February 5, 2017, and February 11, 2017, and February 12, 2017.
IIT Roorkee in its official notice has said that the results would be declared on March 27, but it has released the results one day prior.
Last year, the GATE results were declared on March 19, 2016.

When can the candidates download the score card?
Candidates can download the score card till May 5, 2017. As per the official website, GATE 2017 score card download will be released shortly.

While challenging the answer keys the candidates should ensure that they quote the proper question number as per the PDF file of the question paper given here. Please remember that if the proper question number is not correctly identified then the challenge may not be considered," the notification on the answer keys challenging read.
Rules for raising objections
A candidate must first justify their answer in order to challenge the answer keys of any question
Candidates must make payment of Rs 500 (for each question) through the online payment portal available in the GOAPS
If the answers justified are found acceptable, the fee paid for the correct will be fully refunded Payments for a successful answer key challenge will be refunded for the candidates.
The GATE 2017 committee's decision will be final for all challenges on answer keys Candidates will not be allowed to communicate in this regard through telephone calls on this matter
Fee for Abroad Candidates
"For candidates who have appeared in GATE 2017 from outside India, the fee for each answer key challenge is USD10", a statement in the website added.

The admit cards for the candidates who had registered to attend the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 exam has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R), the oldest Technical Institution of Asia, on Thursday.
In order to get into institutions such as IITs, IISc, Universities, Laboratories and various other institutes in India for post graduate programs, GATE CE is the entrance exam that one needs to attend.
Candidates can download the admit card for the GATE 2017 exam in the official website of IIT-R. Around 9.2 lakhs people had registered themselves at IIT Roorkee for GATE 2017.
How to download GATE CE 2017 admit card:
Visit the official website http://appsgate.iitr.ac.in/
Enter your details such as Enrollment ID and password that you received during registration or email address used during registration in the space given under Enrollment ID/Email Address
Enter your GOAPS password
Enter the word verification code
Click on Submit
Candidates are advised to carry the admit card to the test center along with at least one original and valid photo identification. These identity proof details must have been entered by candidates while filling the application.
GATE is jointly administered by IISc and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee).
